MediaSource Will Carry The Flag!

We’re producers. We’re media experts. We’re thinkers. We’re creators. We’re teachers. We are MediaSource. We’re married. We’re single. We’re parents. We’re pet owners. We’re friends. We’re colleagues. We are people. We analyze. We complain. We praise. We smile. We frown. We celebrate. We sulk.

We are hockey fans. More specifically, we are Columbus Blue Jackets fans. And we’re proud!
 
We’re proud to call Columbus home - and we’re proud of our boys. We’re also honored to be teammates of such an amazing organization.

When I walked into MediaSource more than two years ago I knew I was home. Where else would I be able to have a spirited hockey talk on my first day with Clark Powell and Rick Green? Now, two head coaches, a Calder Cup winner, a playoff appearance and lots of excitement later we still have those same high spirited talks. And we’ve also managed to get a few members of our content team in on the scrum!

At the start of the current season, MediaSource was approached by the CBJ Brass to shoot and produce video elements for in-arena use during the season. They’ve also been used in CBJ advertisements and as part of a variety of other marketing pieces and campaigns - what an honor! And truly a dream come true! MediaSource is home to some of the most spirited hockey fans in the sport:

-Clark and Lisa have an 11-year-old son Grant who’s the starting goalie for Blue Jackets youth league the Ohio AAA Blue Jackets!
-Rick has been a season ticket holder since the team set up shop in Columbus and shares season tickets with NBC4 anchor Colleen Marshall!
-I share season tickets with my brother and dad!
-Matt and Scott have tickets to several games during a season
-And the Leitches (Robert and Marti) make it a family affair.
 
We are the arena’s friends and everybody knows our names. Clark is “Norm” in section 112. I am “Norm” in 109.  And Rick is “Norm” in 115. And when Matt and Scott are representing, MediaSource saturates the entire rink!

We - my MediaSource family - are the coveted Columbus Blue Jackets fans! We’re a diverse group: men, women, male, female, married, single. We’re a mixed bag, unified by a common credence. Columbus is our home and we’re proud to have such an accomplishment right down the street.
