Today our Media Relations Specialist, Kristina Feduik, writes about her experience working at a Best Place to Work!

I've always loved being a part of the creation of a good story and watching it come to life. At MediaSource I can do just that. I meet with some of the most talented medical professionals and help turn their behind the scenes research and hard work into a story the nation wants to hear.

As part of the media relations team, every day I'm talking with journalists in TV, radio, online, and print nationwide... sharing their passion for a good news story. On occasion, I visit friends in newsrooms and I'm reminded of the energy and adrenaline surrounding a breaking news day.  I'm fortunate to work with journalists in top markets including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Denver. But also right here in the Buckeye State where it all starts.

We are a spirited, hard-working team here at MS. We grow stronger with each story we tell and with each of our team-building events. Yes, we go as a team for makeovers and martinis in the Short North. We've run up and down High Street laughing and competing in charity scavenger hunts on Friday afternoons. And there are times we end the day with a happy hour at a local restaurant to unwind and connect as a team.

From day to day, finding the most compelling story to tell can be a challenge. But when we do and we see how it changes and improves the lives of others, it's worth every effort we make.
