Newsjacking is a tactic that involves inserting our clients’ experts into the news cycle when big stories break in order to generate media coverage and social media engagement.
What’s the secret to newsjacking success? Rallying the team and acting quickly. To accomplish this, Media Relations Manager Shannon McCormick issued whistles to our media relations team and coached everyone to whistle loud and proud when a newsjacking opportunity presents itself.
