Our MediaSource team is thrilled to announce that three of our healthcare PR campaigns were chosen from a wide pool of entries to receive recognition as winners in the 2024 PR Daily Nonprofit Communications Awards!
MediaSource is a winner in Best in Media Relations with The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute, Best in Visual Storytelling with Northwell Health and the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research at Northwell Health, and Best in Innovation in Nonprofit Communications with Orlando Health and Mastercard.
It continues to be an honor to work with healthcare organizations across the country and help tell their remarkable stories of hope and innovation. Our clients’ sacrifice and dedication not only benefit the patients they treat, but also the surrounding community and our society as a whole.
Our awarded campaigns include:
- Best in Media Relations: Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign Leverages Multimedia Storytelling, Driving Awareness, Donations and Mammograms
- Best in Visual Storytelling: Nonprofit Campaign Leverages Video For First-Ever Medical Breakthrough
- Best in Innovation in Nonprofit Communications: The Test & Learn Approach: Quantifying the Business Impact of Earned Media in Nonprofit Healthcare
In the Media Relations category alone, our campaign with our partners at Ohio State came out on top against 15 other notable finalists including The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, NewYork-Presbyterian and the American Diabetes Association.
You may have already heard about our Quantifying the Business Impact of Media Relations campaign with Orlando Health and Mastercard, which is changing the way the industry looks at the power of media relations. It’s received recognition from PRSA, PRWeek, PRNEWS and more. PR Daily’s Nonprofit Communications Awards shine a spotlight on the meaningful work that teams are doing to advocate for, build awareness of or raise funds for important nonprofit causes, initiatives or organizations; they are a celebration of the passion that drives these organizations.
“This year’s PR Daily Nonprofit Awards finalists demonstrate how communicating with values at the center of our message is possible every day through the stories we tell and the people we serve,” said Ragan CEO Diane Schwartz. “Working with the resources available to amplify the message and the causes they represent, these winners demonstrated a level of advocacy that instituted meaningful, lasting change in the communities they serve.”
MediaSource was honored with the other winners during the Nonprofit Communications Awards Luncheon on September 27 at the Yale Club in New York City. Read about other winning campaigns on Ragan’s site.
Congratulations to our team and our clients!
